Oliver Subaru Holiday Support - Trevor V

As the Fundraiser & Grant Writer for BROC Community Action, Oliver Subaru has become an essential partner for BROC Community Action & the greater Rutland & Bennington community. The time of need for our community has hit an all time high, and Oliver Subaru has stepped up to help meet the needs of their community. Oliver Subaru has helped purchase over 500 Turkeys for those who are food insecure but want to participate in one the most sacred American Traditions. They believed that no matter your financial status, that everyone should be able to spend a day of Thanks with loved ones. This program would not of happened this year without their support. Oliver Subaru's support also has helped us purchase Thanksgiving Meals for people who do not have the facilities & equipment to cook the meal themselves. Oliver Subaru has also donated over 100 Winter Coats for our Warming Others Coat Drive, a crucial program that our communities need. Coats are essential to keeping our neighbors warm. During these crucial times in terms of Federal Funding, Oliver Subaru has stepped up to help their neighbors at such an important time.

Thank You- 5th Grade - Courtney M

Dear Subaru Team, On behalf of our classroom, I want to sincerely thank you for your generous $500 donation through AdoptAClassroom.org. Thanks to your support, we were able to purchase engaging new science games, a much-needed bookshelf, and dividers for testing. These additions have already made a noticeable difference in our learning environment. The science games have sparked curiosity and excitement in our students, encouraging hands-on exploration and deeper understanding of key concepts. The new bookshelf has helped us organize our materials, making our classroom more inviting and efficient. And the testing dividers have provided students with a more focused and comfortable space to do their best work. Your kindness has helped create a more supportive, engaging, and enriching space for our students to learn and grow. Thank you for investing in their future and believing in the power of education. With gratitude, Mrs. Mills 5th Grade Teacher (RIS)

A Gift That Built More Than Projects - Morgan S

This year, our 5th-grade classroom received an incredible gift — a $500 donation from Subaru of America. That generous support made a world of difference for my students. With the funds, we were able to purchase LEGO sets, which quickly became a favorite in our classroom. The students have used them to build amazing creations — and, even more importantly, to build new friendships. Working together on designs and ideas has sparked creativity, teamwork, and laughter. We also added fidgets to help students stay focused, supplies for hands-on projects and writing, and plenty of snacks to keep growing minds fueled throughout the day. The snacks have been a huge hit — because learning is a lot easier when your body is energized and your heart feels cared for. Thanks to Subaru of America, our classroom feels more connected, supported, and inspired. This gift didn’t just fund materials — it helped fuel curiosity, friendship, and joy.

Oliver Subaru Supports Their Community - Phil F

As the President of the White Light Foundation, I have been proud to partner with Oliver Subaru of Rutland in our annual fundraiser, the Casey Grant Memorial. Curtis and his crew down there are amazing in both their financial support and their willingness to help various organizations make our community a better place to live. I have seen firsthand the focus they have on taking care of each other and their understanding that we are all in this together. While I have never met the actual Oliver Brothers, it is clear that this sense of purpose comes from the top. Rutland is fortunate to have Oliver Subaru as part of our community. I look forward to working with Oliver Subaru of Rutland on future projects to raise money and awareness for the needs of our community. Their generosity and positivity are amazing and so appreciated!

Oliver Subaru contributes Pies in the Face for Chase - David B

Oliver Subaru believes in making a difference beyond the showroom floor—and no one embodies that spirit more than their Business Manager, Jared Hall. For years, Jared has been a dedicated volunteer for “Pie in the Face for Chase,” a heartfelt fundraiser that supports Chase, a young man living with Phelan McDermid Syndrome. This rare genetic condition, caused by a mutation or deletion of genetic material, brings many challenges—but also inspires a community of love and determination. Last year, Jared and the incredible team behind the event helped raise more than $33,000 to support Chase and the ongoing fight for awareness and research. This year, Jared is once again stepping up—literally putting himself in the line of fire (of whipped cream!) to help beat that record. With the support of his Oliver Subaru family, Jared takes pie after pie to the face—all in the name of kindness, community, and love. His willingness to laugh, get messy, and give his all is more than a fun gesture—it’s the true embodiment of the Subaru Love Promise. Because at Oliver Subaru, and through Jared’s example, love means more than words. It means action. And sometimes… it means pie.

Warm Thanks from RRMC - Traci M

In July, Oliver Subaru of Rutland, in partnership with the New York/Vermont Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS), delivered ninety (90) blankets to the Foley Cancer Center at Rutland Regional Medical Center. The donation of blankets provides warmth and comfort to patients receiving cancer care and treatment at RRMC. The donation of blankets is part of the Subaru Loves to Care® program. “We continue to be grateful to Oliver Subaru and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for their warm and meaningful show of support,” said Dr. Allan Eisemann, Medical Director of the Foley Cancer Center. “Our providers, nurses, and staff are honored to receive these blankets on behalf of the grateful patients receiving care at the Foley Cancer Center." The blankets were delivered to RRMC by Jose Oliver, Owner of Oliver Subaru of Rutland, and Curtis VanEpps, Managing Partner, and Joe Altavilla, Subaru of New England. Foley Cancer Center team members, including Dr. Allan Eisemann, Lindsey Munger, Director of Oncology, and Traci Moore, Senior Director of Development and Community Relations, were on hand to receive the donation of blankets. As a not-for-profit community hospital, it is RRMC’s mission to provide every person who walks through our doors with exceptional care. Community support continues to play a positive role at RRMC, helping our providers and staff to meet the ever-changing healthcare needs of our patients and our local region, through innovative, high-quality programs and services. RRMC is grateful for the ongoing support that the hospital and our local community receives from Oliver Subaru of Rutland, the LLS Subaru Loves to Care program, and the LLS and Subaru retailers nationwide for this special delivery of blankets for our oncology patients.

Oliver Subaru of Rutland Teams Up to Support Local Community - Nate R

Imagine going without a coat, shoes, or even socks. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and other urgent need situations across the country, even here in Rutland, this is a harsh reality. Helping others strengthens communities, which is why Oliver Subaru of Rutland is partnering with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. Rutland Regional Medical Center Scanning for a Brighter Tomorrow - Traci M

Rutland Regional Medical Center (RRMC) is grateful to Subaru of America and Oliver Subaru of Rutland for their outstanding generosity and support through the Subaru Share the Love event, which has a lasting positively impact the patients and communities we serve. Since being selected in 2017, RRMC has received close to $140,000 in donations from the annual Subaru Share the Love event. These donations have supported new 3D breast imaging and nuclear medicine diagnostic equipment, upgrades to the hospital’s psychiatric services inpatient unit, palliative care services and upgrades to the hospital’s comfort suites for chronically or terminally ill patients who require hospital care, and most recently, support for the expansion of RRMC’s Infusion Services program. The 2024 Subaru Share the Love campaign will raise funds and awareness to support the cost of a new positron emission tomography (PET) scanner at RRMC. A PET scanner uses drug tracers that allow the machine to see where parts of the body may be diseased. The PET scanner is combined with a CT scanner so that the precise location of the abnormal area can be identified. The use of the PET scanner continues to expand significantly each year. RRMC’s Foley Cancer Center providers reference PET scans daily for critical information that guides treatment decisions. It is also becoming an increasingly valuable tool for our cardiology team. An onsite system will allow Rutland Regional to image heart disease in ways that are currently only available at larger hospitals. As Rutland Regional continues to focus on increased access to care, the new PET scanner will help to reduce wait times for patient appointments and improve the overall patient experience. Since the new scanner will be permanently located inside the hospital, we would no longer need to use the outside mobile unit, which will enable better patient comfort and workflow efficiency. The new PET scanner is scheduled to be installed in 2026, and will enhance RRMC’s capacity to support our oncology and cardiology populations moving into the future so that patients won’t need to travel to get answers to their already challenging situations. With the support of the Subaru Share the Love campaign, RRMC will bring a new PET scanner to our community and make this important technology available for the patients who need it most – right here, close to home. Thank you again for your continued support.

Green Mountain Challenge A Success!! - Chris C

We have been running a youth soccer tournament for the past 25 years in Manchester Vermont. This serves as an opportunity for people to come from all over New England and New York to our small town and play in a premier event at substantially lower cost than many others. This event serves as our primary club fundraiser so that we can offer scholarships to many families in our club and make sure that every child who wants to play can. We have be lucky enough to work with Oliver Subaru over the past 2 years and their support has been tremendous!!! With their help we have been able to help more families than ever before!! They truly are supportive of the local community and the families in it. We are grateful to call them a partner and for the support that they offer as we truly not be able to help families the way we do without them!!
